I took down the Christmas Tree with the intention to begin anew in the New Year. In the process of removing the ornaments I removed the obstacles that buried emotions of disappointment and righteous anger that I was experiencing. I cried and “felt” as I packed up the ornaments. The twinkle and warmth of the lights from the Christmas Tree provided a safe place to reflect and alchemize the emotions of the moment.
The white Indiana Spruce traveled from Florida to North Carolina when me, the tree and Scruffy returned in late November to our new business community. I was full of joy and anticipation of upcoming co-creative activities planned in the business community. The Christmas tree was placed front and center in my office near the door for all to enjoy! She shined pretty and bright!
Like a record scratching on the record player- that joy, turned into WTF?! My furry partner, co- creator, joy generator, Scruffy, was dis-invited to my new business community. Disappointed and righteously angry I considered returning to Florida.
The Universe had a different plan, and I was offered “my dream job”. I had been manifesting such an opportunity for months! I said YES and THANK YOU and packed up me, Scruffy and the Christmas Tree and moved to our new location in a lovely historic small town in North Carolina.
I wrapped up the Christmas Tree and she landed in our new business location with me and Scruffy. We quickly made the new place feel warm and cozy with the tree and a few of our items from the previous business community. My intention of course would be to serve and build community in this new location. I felt confident, warm, and comfy in our new location. I felt full of anticipation and great excitement while enjoying the Christmas Tree lights and familiar ornaments as Scruffy and I were to begin anew. The days were growing shorter as the Winter Solstice was just around the corner.
After a few days at our new location and full disclosure of the “dream job” I discovered I was not in alignment with my purpose and goals. I learned that things are not as we see. Much like a Christmas Tree sometimes they are more beautiful from afar.
Being aligned with my mission TO BE the lighthouse that illuminates people’s path to their inner knowingness of self-love, care, forgiveness, and healing alchemy must be of value and importance to who I partner and co-create with. I am fiercely committed as an entrepreneur and dedicated to my mission and my dog Scruffy.
Now it was time to take the Christmas Tree and go home to Florida. So, we did. The pretty white Indiana Spruce returned to Florida in my living room and was enjoyed on Christmas morning by me, a dear friend and Scruffy.
For the past year I have been a beginner entrepreneur utilizing a new business model. Much like the Indiana Spruce, I stood and shined for a short time. I am becoming wiser as a business owner and clearer about what I am attracting in 2024. The services I intend to offer the world are in alignment with my purpose. My purpose is divine. Like me. Like you.
The Christmas Tree is packed and stowed away. The Indiana Spruce will return to shine and provide that comfy, cozy feel again wherever I am next holiday season. We both are a bit weathered and wiser from the journey! I will persevere, carry on, and shine my light on my intended mission in the New Year!
