I am adjusting to the new life I created here in North Carolina. One of my favorite things to do is walk from my workplace at Saha Happyness to downtown historic Fayetteville to enjoy lunch while sitting outdoors taking in all the activities and people of downtown Fayetteville. The big surprise one day recently is that I fell on my face while returning to the office.
It was not a little fall. My eye was cut and there was blood on my face. I looked like I had been mugged! There was no particular reason for this fall. I had on very good walking shoes and was walking at a very leisurely pace. I had my dog Scruffy’s leash in one hand and my half-finished lunch in the other hand.
I pondered the metaphysical meaning of “falling on your face”. Was the Universe sending me a message? Maybe this move to North Carolina was not such a great idea.
According to my teacher and mentor Louise Hay the metaphysical probable cause of an accident is the following; ” Inability to speak up for self. Rebellion against authority. Belief in violence”. Hmmm, I thought to myself.
Earlier that day I had a tough conversation with my friend where I stood in my authenticity and spoke my truth. I also realized being in a military town like Fayetteville I am surrounded by a fighting force of special operators all involved in “violent” activities.
What I know for sure is that I have been called here to do my work with intention to illuminate people’s path to their intrinsic knowingness of self-care, self-love and self-healing. I am being guided to extraordinary opportunities now!
The healing affirmation for my fall has been this. I release the pattern in me that created this. I am at peace. I am worthwhile. And so it is!
On my healing journey I visited a very talented local acupuncturists, Dr. Kelly and I visited the Energy Enhancement System in Aberdeen North Carolina. I rested, hydrated, completed a detoxification protocol after my Energy Enhancement System session and I am happy to report I am healing beautifully and with ease.
I share my story with all of you to be an example of how healing happens through body, mind and spirit. When we take full responsibility and listen to our inner voice, healing of every kind is accessible to each of us.
