I started the process of entrepreneurship a year ago. After retiring from nursing and really doing a deep dive into my own health and well-being I became focused on a new purpose and mission.
What would it take to create a new healthcare system? How could I now contribute in a meaningful way? This led me to establish a Private Membership Association (PMA) and The Ministry of Healing Arts.
A Private Membership Association (508c1as) is a private organization that is outside the jurisdiction of the state. A PMA allows those who are members to reap the benefits of engaging in commerce, community and much more with all members of the PMA. In general members of an association do not fall under the jurisdiction of local, state and federal governments and corresponding laws and regulations. The exception to this general rule is activities of the PMA cannot “present a clear and present danger of substantive evil”.
Why is this important to me as the founder? Censorship, the medical mandates of the past three years, and making autonomous decisions about our own health and our own bodies are the reasons for the establishment of a PMA model.
